 BRC, under the aegis of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan & Bhavan’s College, is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited
Microbiology laboratory for routine and specialized testing. The laboratory specializes in conducting
antimicrobial studies, investigating the effectiveness of biocides and disinfectants, using a wide variety of
microbial cultures, using national & international standard protocols.
BRC conducts research in diverse, critical areas spanning from microbiological safety of water and foods,
evaluation of water treatment technologies, bacteriophage, biofilms, and evaluation of antimicrobials for their
efficacy.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in
Microbiology, cell biology, virology and Molecular Biology to join our team. This mid-level role
combines scientific expertise with program development, focusing on the creation and delivery of
academic programs, workshops, and industry-oriented training modules.
The ideal candidate should have a collaborative mindset, leadership potential, and passion for
training both students and professionals

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Develop Training Programs: Conceptualize, structure, and deliver hands-on
training, workshops, and certification courses in various allied field of Microbiology .
• Academic Program Coordination: Collaborate with faculty, industry experts, and external
stakeholders to co-create relevant academic content.
• Industry Engagement: Develop and strengthen partnerships with biotech, pharma, food, and
healthcare sectors to design industry-ready programs.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor students, interns, and early-career researchers during
training and projects.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure training programs meet high scientific standards, safety
regulations, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree (M. Sc). in Microbiology, Virology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or
related fields.
• Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in academia, research labs, or industry settings.
• Proven experience in designing and/or delivering training or workshops in life sciences.
• Strong understanding of microbiology, cell biology, virology and molecular biology
techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Attributes

• Prior experience in industry-academia collaborations.
• Familiarity with curriculum development for skill-building programs.
• Passion for capacity building and knowledge dissemination.
