Dr. Samant has recently retired as Professor of Microbiology at Bhavan’s College and also been a research guide. She is one of the key members in the BRC team that works towards ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for the organization, contributing towards in-vitro and in-vivo microbiological tests and industrial projects in the areas of food and fermentation microbiology.
Besides her rich teaching experience in Microbial Biochemistry, she has been the coordinator for successfully executing a certificate courses in Molecular Microbiology and Food Safety.
